St. Cuthbert's Way Retreat House is a resource for all travellers - walkers, pilgrims, anyone seeking to pause on their journey. Here you will find comfortable accommodation, a contemplative garden, a spiritual library, and a dedicated space for quiet and contemplation.  St. Cuthbert's is located in Wooler, an attractive stone built, small market town in the Northumberland National Park, on St.Cuthbert's Way and just 15 miles from Holy Island and the Northumbrian coast. Known as the gateway to the Cheviot Hills, the town of Wooler is ideal as a stopover for pilgrims to pause before beginning the final section of St. Cuthbert's way to the Lindisfarne causeway and across the sands to Holy Island.
